7.21.24 Blue Moon in Capricorn

How’s the first half of 2020+4? What has matured in you? What is now bearing fruit? What has taken root? What is needing to wither? What is ready to bloom?

We are closing a cycle that was seeded on January’s New Moon in Capricorn.

The second of two, this full moon is at the 29º, the first one in June was at the 1º or critical degree, this signifies a newness where the sign is not yet it’s fullest having just integrated the sign before.

The last degree, 29º is also known as a karmic or anaretic degree. This signifies completion, closing the loop, compressing a cycle with the fullness expression of the sign. Here we have all the necessary information - shadow and light and a sense of clarity what needs adjusting to better align and attune with that sign’s highest lesson.

The last of the Earth signs, Capricorn represents the wisdom of the elders, the roots of the world tree. One of my mentors, Gemini Brett would often say “the roots of the rules and the truths of the equations.” Capricorn is the matriarch (Earth and Water signs are Feminine in nature). She establishes tradition, norms and structures, foundational systems that support alignment, integrity, success.

Once in a Blue Moon

An astrological blue moon is a second full moon in the same sign, such is this Full Moon.

A seasonal blue moon is the 3rd of 4 consecutive full moons in one season. Next month’s Aquarius Full Moon is a seasonal blue moon. So we are having back to back blue moons energizing, catalyzing, pivotal points. People, this is not just a once in a blue moon song and dance trip, this is a last in our lifetime kind of cosmic opportunity enough to rile me back to this space whilst still in the slow sprouting of new shoots having been through a season of fallow. January’s New Moon was conjunct Pluto in the karmic degree of Capricorn. This Blue Moon is conjunct Pluto again with Pluto retrograde in 0º of Aquarius, the point of the Grand Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn on December of 2020.

We know Pluto to be the lord of the underworld, rebirth and transformation. Pluto has been in Capricorn for the past 16 years! Remember world events in 2008? How the fiat system collapsed, the housing bubble burst? The shadows of isms, “plutocracy,” the elite, leadership, how authority and power are defined, the cracks in foundational values that govern and control our world view..
